I could have burned a disc and then ripped it from that to take care of the speed issue, but I didn't have any CD-Rs on hand, so instead I had to convert it to a USB flash drive instead of the HDD to bring the speed down to a level that wouldn't run the audio through a cheese grater. Any conversion I ended up with had horribly distorted, unusable audio for any of the English sections because read speeds were too high. iso/.cue/.wav archive you end up with after patching with PowerISO or ImgBurn wouldn't work because both programs ignore virtual drive read speed settings. bin/.cue without running into some shit took some ingenuity. Applying the patch wasn't the problem, but applying it and then converting to. It was a fairly annoying process getting this. You can more easily emulate the game on PC thanks to far less file type restrictions, but for those of us that like to emulate on, say, a CFW PS3 or a Homebrew enabled Wii, this is the best way to do that. This is intended for anyone who wants to emulate this game in English on console. I have an English translated Castlevania - Rondo of Blood.
